Online
A representative of the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will participate in three online seminars in 2025 and, at the end, will also take an exam to obtain the IRDO Certificate for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development of Companies. This will upgrade knowledge of social responsibility and sustainability in line with current EU requirements!
Since 2016, more than 350 managers, experts, and young people have obtained the IRDO certificate. Sustainable development and social responsibility have become the main focus of governments, companies, and organizations around the world.
Why social responsibility and sustainable development?
Social responsibility is a tool for achieving sustainable development in line with the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, which were set out by the United Nations in its 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2015. Corporate social responsibility brings a competitive advantage and means that companies must be aware of their impact on the community and the environment and report on it, not only with economic but also with environmental and social indicators (ESG). Since 2017, large companies in the EU, including Slovenia, have been required to report on non-financial aspects of their operations in their annual reports, which will be further upgraded in 2024 (mandatory ESRS standards for companies, especially large ones).
