Within the project Strengthening Vulnerable Social Groups with the Support of Volunteering, the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is organising the event Volunteering: Individual Support and Companionship.
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to offer their energy, time and warmth for individual support and companionship to individuals who often experience loneliness and social exclusion. Our projects offer the opportunity to work with individuals who need support in everyday activities such as going for walks, playing board games, attending events and other activities that strengthen social contacts and a sense of belonging to a community.
At the event you will learn more about the importance of being a social volunteer and hear stories from volunteers who are already working in this field. We will also show how volunteering helps build bridges between generations and different social groups. If you want to become a positive influence in the lives of others, we invite you to join us at 18:00!
