Representatives of the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will attend a two-day conference: Challenges and Competencies of the Future. The conference is organized by the Public Scholarship, Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund of the Republic of Slovenia.

A successful company of the future is not one that introduces technological innovations, but one that knows how to include all employees in the changes. In times of digital transformation, the importance of quality relationships, good leadership and targeted development of competencies is increasing – especially when we talk about older employees, people with disabilities and employees with experience of studying and/or working abroad. Their knowledge and, above all, experience can represent important capital that should not be ignored. The key question we need to ask ourselves is: How can we create a work environment that not only follows changes, but also includes everyone.

At the conference, we will discuss the following topics with leading experts:

  • how to create an inclusive work environment,
  • how the ASI+ project can help companies extend their working life, manage and develop the competencies of older employees,
  • how to employ and exploit the potential of people with disabilities,
  • how to attract and retain staff with valuable experience of studying and/or working abroad,
  • how to successfully manage employees and maintain good working relations in the age of digitalization.

Digital solutions are important, but they remain effective only if they are accompanied by a human touch in leadership and genuine care for people. The focus will be on the person – with all their needs, potential and challenges.
