The first partners’ meeting of the “DigitAll in Action” project takes place in Istanbul. The Council of the European Union, in its document on key competences for lifelong learning, has set out a framework of eight key competences to be developed for all EU citizens, one of which is digital skills, which “include the confident, critical and responsible use of digital technologies and their use in learning, working and participating in society The constant development of technology and the digitisation of life are also associated with many risks of which young people are unaware. The project addresses current concerns about cyber security and aims to raise awareness on issues including cyber bullying, cyber education and cyber attacks. We also want to highlight the role of fake news, while making participants aware of its harmful impact on our society and the European value system based on tolerance.
The main objectives of the project are:
- To improve digital literacy and critical thinking skills.
- To develop participants’ creativity and digital skills.
- Raise awareness of the importance of safe behaviour on the network.
- Create new methods of non-formal learning.
