Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the European Social Economy Day celebration “New technologies and digitalisation: opportunities for social economy enterprises”.

Nowadays, digital technologies play an increasingly important role in our society. The ability to connect and interact quickly and efficiently is becoming essential for social and business relations, and digital skills and knowledge are becoming increasingly important for businesses and citizens alike. Businesses and social economy organisations therefore need to respond quickly to new challenges and find the opportunities created by digitalisation to achieve their social and environmental goals.

In order to unlock and adapt the growth potential of both the Digital Single European Market and the social economy, attention must be focused not only on the digital economy, but also on social economy actors, which must find a way to position themselves in the Digital Single European Market and thus co-shape the way it operates.
