16 – 22 June, 2015
Umag, Croatia

The Association EPEKA,  Soc. Ent., is a partner organisation of the youth exchange ‘Indirekt’, which will take place in Umag, Croatia, from 16 to 22 June, in connection with the Indirekt Festival of Independent Music and Arts.

The aim of the youth exchange “Indirekt” is to bring together 30 young independent artists from five different countries: Croatia, Italy, Macedonia, Slovakia and Slovenia.

The young artists will have the opportunity to present and promote their ‘indie art’ or ‘independent art’ in their own way at the Indirekt Festival, the first festival of independent music and art in Istria, which will take place in Umag for the third time in June 2015.

The project will be based on informal learning methods in the form of workshops, outdoor activities, jam session events, discussions, flash mob events, etc. On this basis, participants will develop their skills and abilities, strengthen team spirit, broaden intercultural understanding and gain information about the NGOs they come from for potential cooperation and networking purposes.
