The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., in the framework of the Epeka Agency project and in cooperation with Frekvenca, Soc. Ent., is preparing 2 presentations on the importance and role of social entrepreneurship in society and the opportunities that social entrepreneurship opens up for legal entities in various fields.
Both presentations will complement the accounting lectures we have already prepared for you, but will focus on the role of social entrepreneurship in building social cohesion (lecture 1, focus on working with and employing vulnerable groups) and on the concrete opportunities and benefits that social enterprise status brings (lecture 2).
The lectures will take place on 17 and 24 August at 6 pm at Roma Station, Preradovičeva ulica 1. Both lectures are free of charge.

The socio-cultural association Frekvenca was founded in the framework of the Urban Furrows programme of the European Capital of Culture – Maribor 2012 in 2011. Its mission was developed by a research team of experts, Roma activists and migrants, in response to specific challenges faced by the Roma community and various ethnic and minority groups in Maribor. As an innovative NGO, Frekvenca facilitates access to the community and provides services according to their needs.
