Representatives of the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will participate in an online seminar from the Monday Talks series: Beyond Business as Usual: How to Contribute to the Advancement of the Local Democratic Economy.

“Monday Talks – Beyond Business as Usual” is a three-part series aimed at opening up collaborative and democratic dialogue in the Western Balkans. Through practical discussions, interactive tools, and success stories, we will explore how cooperative entrepreneurship can promote a sustainable, democratic, and inclusive local economy.

This initiative is part of the #coops4devprogramme, jointly led by Cooperatives Europe and ALDA, and is in line with the objectives of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, proclaimed by the United Nations.

Why participate?

  • Discover how cooperatives can promote social and economic change.
  • Learn directly from successful cooperative projects in the fields of tourism, youth entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage.
  • Network with actors from the cooperative sector and the local democracy sector.
  • Contribute to shaping future actions in the Western Balkans.
