Epeka Association, soc. ent., is pleased to announce that, based on our work in recent years, we have received a status in the public interest in the field of international development cooperation and humanitarian aid.

For several years, Epeka Association has been implementing projects and activities aimed at promoting sustainable development, integration of vulnerable groups, and capacity building of non-governmental organizations in third countries within various European programs, own initiatives and since 2020 also with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.

In recent years, we have carried out a number of actions and projects that have contributed to more balanced and equitable development and helped to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and achieve sustainable development in countries outside the EU.

The key current project of Epeka in this field recently is “Economic and social empowerment of Roma men and women in the municipality of Berane and its surroundings”, co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia within three years of development and humanitarian projects (International Development Cooperation).

Granting status in the public interest in the field of international development cooperation and humanitarian aid is a key element in recognizing our work and international successes and supporting the most vulnerable communities beyond the EU’s borders.
