RECup and final European conference: ‘E-participation and e-decision as a tool for the participation of unemployed citizens’.

It is a 24-month project to promote EU citizenship and improve the conditions for civic and democratic participation at Union level. To this end, the project aims to develop a network of municipalities, to strengthen the e-democracy process so that citizens understand the Union’s policy-making process, and to promote opportunities for social participation for a specific target group: the unemployed. The project aims to promote intercultural exchanges in the field of employment and to develop citizens’ understanding of key EU policy objectives, including the EU 2021 strategy, which emphasises smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

The RECup project aims to create a network of cities that will develop an innovative online platform for open educational resources and address a common goal: to involve the unemployed in the Union’s policy-making process in order to reduce the social exclusion of the unemployed through European legislation and policies, by designing websites and carrying out training activities in Romania, Malta, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia and Spain.
