Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the online event “The European Alliance for Apprenticeships 2025 – High-Level Event”

In 2025, the European Commission announced two new EU flagship initiatives: the Skills Union, which sets out key objectives to support upskilling, reskilling, and quality education and training for all, and the Clean Industry Deal, a multi-year plan to help traditional energy-intensive industries and emerging clean technology sectors decarbonize, including by promoting the development of skills.

The event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss the role of apprenticeships and work-based learning in the context of these new initiatives. In particular, the event will be an opportunity to explore how apprenticeships can provide participants with the right skills to successfully implement the Clean Industry Agreement. It will also discuss how the Skills Union can help develop the EU’s human capital, including by improving gender equality in apprenticeships.

This event will explore how apprenticeships can contribute to the Skills Union and the Clean Industry Agenda initiatives. In addition, the importance of quality apprenticeships as a key tool for developing the skills of the workforce will be discussed, with a focus on the green transition and clean technologies.

The meeting will offer valuable opportunities for networking and connecting with like-minded organizations and individuals.
