EPEKA, soc. ent, is happy to announce that we are part of the youth exchange “Positive Practices of Mental Success”, which will take place in Coimbra, Portugal, between August 21st and 28th. The exchange will will gather 42 participants from 7 countries: Latvia, Czech Republic, Malta, Poland, Macedonia, Slovenia and Portugal.
The president of EPEKA, Soc. Ent., Stefan Simončič will be a participant in the Experimental Learning Summit, which will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, from February 10th to February 18th. The summit will be organised by DeM Experiential Training Center.
Štefan Simončič, the president of EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will attend the workshop “AmCham Young Professionals™ Workshop – Double Jump Out of Comfort Zone” organised by AmCham Slovenia. The workshop will be held on February 21st in the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana.
EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is a partner in the project “Learning Together”, which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, between October 2016 and September 2017. This EVS project is coordinated by ProAtlantic (Portugal). The volunteers will be hosted by a Associação QE – Uma Nova Linguagem para a Incapacidad for 1 year.
From January 2nd to March 1st EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will host an intern from the University of Limburg in the context of the project Art Neighbourhood. This is part of the broader strategy of EPEKA to connect with public institutions throughout Europe and work together on project related to science, art, culture, youth, social entrepreneurship etc.
“Who?” The answer is “Women”. Women and girls throughout the world experience violence, discrimination, inequality, and poverty. Despite the existence of international covenants, regional treaties and domestic laws intended to codify and realise women’s human rights, the reality is that women and girls are routinely unable to claim their basic rights.
EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is a partner in the project ”Work As Smart As Possible” (WASAP) — a Youth Exchange organised by Electronics Students League, which will take place in Bucharest, Romania between the 13th and the 18th of February 2017. It gathers together a group of 30 young people coming from Denmark, Estonia, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey.
