Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., took part in the Festival for the Third Age of Life, which took place on 2 October at Cankarjev dom.

The Festival for the Third Age (F3ŽO) is a unique event for the elderly in Slovenia and the largest of its kind in Europe, a space for networking, exchanging ideas and creativity, dedicated to active ageing, improving the quality of life of the elderly and promoting solidarity between the generations. At the festival, everyone can find interesting topics and ways to express their opinions, find new ways to improve the lives of the older generation and guide others along the way.

The Festival creates a space for cooperation between generations, civil society, voluntary organisations, the economic, academic and political spheres, and thus contributes to sustainable intergenerational solutions.

Each year, the festival opens the door to intergenerational coexistence, creativity and the exchange of ideas. The timing and content of the festival is linked to 1 October, which is International Day of Older Persons.
