A member of the Association Epeka, Soc. Ent., and members of the consortium of the project Farm – a place of diversity, funded by the European Fund for Rural Development from sub-measure 16.9., have attended the 6th European Congress of Young Farmers.

The 6th European Congress of Young Farmers The EPP will focus on the role that young farmers can play in the Common Agricultural Policy and in the Covid world. The F2F strategy will also address the possibilities for smart and sustainable farming. During the panel discussions, do not miss the opportunity to interact with EU policy makers and agricultural stakeholders.

An essential part of the congress is the European Award for Young Farmers. It rewards young farmers for their sustainable and innovative practices in addressing some of the biggest agricultural challenges such as generational renewal, climate change mitigation, food security and technological progress. This year, the award will be presented in three categories: Digital, Environmentally Sustainable and Food Champion in Agriculture.
