Štefan Simončič, President of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., attended the VIP (inclusion, inclusiveness and equity) conference, organised by the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Education.

The main objectives of the conference were:

  • to present the Eurydice study Equity in School Education in Europe,
  • to discuss different aspects of inclusion, inclusiveness and equity in education,
  • to identify outstanding issues in the field of ensuring inclusion, inclusiveness and equity at different levels (group, department, educational institution, system),
  • to facilitate the exchange of good practices in the field of inclusion and equity and
  • to contribute to raising the quality of practice to enhance inclusiveness and equity.
