The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., has completed the Erasmus+ adult education project “Immigration + Education = Integration”. The results of the project were presented during the final conference.
In the framework of the project Information + Education = Integration, the Association EPEKA, Soc.Ent., hosted an international mobility in Maribor, where participants presented the results of previous mobilities and discussed the integration of people from rural areas, members of national minorities, the Roma community, refugees, etc. on the topic of education and integration of young people with fewer opportunities.
The objectives of the project are:
- Social integration of immigrants into the local environment, i.e. people at risk of social exclusion (with fewer opportunities) through a cycle of local activities planned in this project in line with the project’s key activities.
- Development of key competences (social and civic competences; initiative and entrepreneurship; cultural awareness and expression) of immigrants, thus increasing their opportunities for social and professional participation and integration in the local society
- Developing international cooperation (project consortium) in the field of activities for the benefit of immigrants, thus increasing their organisational and methodological potential through the exchange of good practices and the development of a cooperation plan
The project results are:
- R1: Educational scenarios for local activities
- R2: International cooperation plan for project partners
- R3: Local activities for 120 participants;
- R4: Three local conferences (or other events) for dissemination of results.
- R5: A total of 9 organisations are involved in the project.
- R6: Preparation of recommendations for the 9 organisations in relation to their activities targeting migrants.
