The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will take part in a workshop before the 2nd Erasmus+: Youth in Action application and a lecture by Dr Jason Laker, organised by Movit.

The workshops will present the objectives of Erasmus+: the MVAs of the programme, the possible activities, the conditions for participation, the application deadlines, the structure of the Programme Guide, and the platform for dissemination of results. It will also present the annual thematic orientations, the structure of the application form and the expectations within each strand, answers to frequently asked questions, the most common mistakes and what to do in case of problems with the submission.

And Dr Jason Laker, Professor and Educator at California State University, San José, will present the importance of working together for a more inclusive society and the responsibility, role and power of the civil sector in this process. In his lecture, he will try to challenge and inspire us to work together to find answers to the above questions.

The event is organised by Movit, the Slovenian National Agency for the EU Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. It is one of the many events they have been organising on this topic since 2012 as part of their efforts in the field of social inclusion, which they have set as one of their overall horizontal priorities for 2020. Their aim is to encourage organisations to pay special attention to social inclusion and to experience the benefits that an inclusive approach can bring to their local environment and society beyond the boundaries of the programme and their specific projects.
