The ZBS provides the unemployed with additional livelihoods in the form of self-sufficient food production and heating sources, as well as the possibility of additional earnings.
The Association works on the principle of mutual solidarity between farmers, pensioners, the elderly and the disabled, the employed and the UNEMPLOYED.
In exchange for donations, the unemployed do various jobs: We help on the farm, in the woods, orchards, vineyards, we help pensioners, elderly and disabled people in the household or with landscaping, we help the employed in the household, with childcare or by agreement, we cultivate abandoned land that the Association has been given for free use; following the principles of permaculture and healthy organic production, providing ourselves with firewood while clearing wooded areas, expanding our activities in the framework of social entrepreneurship, which in reality, unlike the usual “labour market” in Slovenia, is a much more viable form of employment with a more reasonable income.
