June 18-20, 2025
Tirana, Albania
The Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will participate in the ALForum 2025 event. This is a three-day international forum organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation in cooperation with the municipality of Tirana in the Albanian Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, which will focus on intercultural dialogue, sustainable development, and regional cooperation.
ALForum 2025 is based on three fundamental dimensions inspired by the slogan:
- inspiring knowledge,
- encouraging action,
- bringing cultures together.
It will bring together around 1,000 participants, including representatives of civil society and academic institutions, young leaders, the media, influential personalities, representatives of governments and institutions, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders from 43 countries in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The year 2025 is a special year for the Anna Lindh Foundation. It is celebrating its 20th anniversary, which should not be overlooked! For 20 years, the Foundation has been promoting dialogue and exchange between European and Mediterranean countries.
To highlight the diversity of the region and the tangible impact of ALF members’ activities, an ALForum will be organised in Tirana. This three-day forum will showcase everything that ALF stands for. Participants from different member countries will collaborate in organising various activities on different topics.
At 3.15 p.m., Štefan Simončič, President of the EPEKA Association, will give a presentation: Beyond Borders: Affordable Housing and Social Cohesion in the Black Sea Region
