Representatives of the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will participate in an online seminar on housing issues, which will also be attended by representatives of the European Commission.

It will be held in two parts. At the seminar, we will meet with representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament, trade unions, and civil society.

Key topics include:

  • Description of the housing crisis and identification of gaps in EU policy.
  • Linking housing rights to EU social justice frameworks.
  • Description of the plan’s financing mechanisms.
  • The final part will focus on strategic reflection and discussion on the next steps to influence the housing plan.

The agenda includes:

  • Feedback and evaluation: identifying challenges and opportunities for the plan.
  • Exchange of challenges at the national level (e.g., differences in financing, risks of privatization).
  • Preparation of common requirements (e.g., binding quotas for social housing, measures against evictions).
