Representatives of the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will participate in the international event BIO SUMMIT 2025.

BIO SUMMIT 2025 is part of the GREET CE initiative. It will focus on international networking in the bioeconomy with an emphasis on practical solutions, pilots and financing, and the circular economy. B2B networking will be possible in separate rooms at the main event throughout the event. Participants will also have the opportunity to see good practices in the field – a presentation of selected companies and solutions in the field of bioeconomy will take place in the late afternoon of September 15 or in the morning of September 16, 2025 (by prior announcement). The event will be open to companies, researchers, politicians and everyone who co-creates a sustainable future for the bioeconomy.

Subtitle of the morning panel (national part): BIO(REVOLUTION) IN ACTION: entry point into the strategy and action plan for the development of the bioeconomy in Slovenia. It will be dedicated to the preparation of a national action plan for the bioeconomy, with the involvement of stakeholders and the presentation of the results of the projects BOOST4BIOEST, BioINSouth, BIOLOC, CEE2ACT.

Subtitle of the afternoon panel (international part of GREET CE): Smart, circular, competitive. Organized within the framework of GREET CE, it will offer insight into international trends, pilot solutions in eco-construction, renewable gases, digital energy and regenerative agriculture, and connecting stakeholders through networking activities. It will include:

  • concrete presentations of four pilots (eco-construction, digital energy, regenerative agriculture, renewable gases),
  • selected pitch deck presentations of innovative companies,
  • display of examples of good practices (e.g. internal renovation of the municipality of Trbovlje using health-friendly biomaterials),
  • and numerous opportunities for networking with actors from Central European countries.
