Slovenian Roma Route

As part of the Slovenian Roma Route project, members of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in the online event Academic Workshop: cultural routes.

The European Institute for Cultural Routes will hold its first online academic workshop in cooperation with the University Network for Cultural Routes Studies. The workshop will bring together scholars, researchers and students to exchange and share their research results in the field of Cultural Routes Studies. Research presentations focus on cultural routes, including the following topics: cultural heritage (preservation, enhancement, interpretation, management, etc.), tourism (cultural tourism, sustainable tourism, slow tourism, tourism indicators and metrics, emerging trends, etc.), community participation (community involvement, local projects, heritage ownership, etc.), local development (sustainable development, heritage and tourism as engines of development, etc.), the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the cultural, heritage and tourism sectors (emerging trends, the use of virtual reality and digital technologies, creativity and resilience, funding and financing for post-Covid recovery, etc.).
