20 – 29 January, 2024
Malaga, Spain

From 20 to 29 January 2024, members of EPEKA, Soc.Ent. will take part in a youth exchange in sunny Malaga, Spain.

The project is aimed at young enthusiasts over the age of 18 who want to improve their skills or explore and nurture their artistic talent. It will bring together youth workers and young artists from nine European countries (Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Latvia, Finland, Hungary and Spain) and empower them with the tools and knowledge needed to improve their visibility and employability in the arts.

This initiative represents a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the arts to come together, learn and contribute to the wider arts community. The main objectives of the project are:

  • to equip 18 youth workers from different European countries with the tools to improve their visibility and employability in the arts;
  • to work with the participants on fundamental approaches to entrepreneurship (event organisation, education, product creation) and income generation within the art world using cost-effective digital tools;
  • raise awareness and empower participants about the importance of the arts so that they are able to recognise the importance of their own artistic skills and those of other artists;
  • develop participants’ capacity to build their own brand within the art world and equip them to share what they have learned with young artists in their communities;
  • to design new initiatives in entrepreneurship and income generation through arts and culture that will be useful for future calls for proposals.

Participation is free of charge for EPEKA members, i.e. travel, accommodation and food costs are covered for the duration of the project. Interested in more? Detailed information can be found in the Infopack, or to register, please contact: epeka@epeka.si.

The project is funded by Erasmus+.
