Representative of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will take part in the event “Corruption in numbers: the gap between perceptions and reports received”.
In the light of the launch of the new VEM on corruption and the recently revamped Erar platform, which allows for greater transparency of public sector financial flows, as well as the current period of reporting by taxpayers and the preparation of annual reports by corruption prevention and enforcement bodies, we would like to stimulate a debate on the incidence of corruption in Slovenia. The event will highlight the challenges in data interpretation, the gap between public perception and actual reports of corruption, and encourage the search for better methods to assess the prevalence of this phenomenon. The event will also give participants a closer look at the new VEM on corruption.
