The Association EPEKA, Soc .Ent., is participating in the international Erasmus+ project Echoes of Environment and Digitalisation.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The youth exchange “Echoes of Environment and Digitalisation” aimed to raise awareness on environmental issues using digital tools. It took place in Vienna, Austria, from 1 to 8 November 2024 and brought together young people from eight European countries: Slovenia, Latvia, Croatia, Greece, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia and Austria.

The aim of the project was to encourage young people to become active in tackling environmental issues and to use digital approaches such as audio-guides to raise awareness. Through workshops, participants learned skills that can contribute to environmental protection.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

  • To raise awareness about environmental problems and digital solutions to solve them.
  • To acquire digital skills to create audio-guides as awareness-raising tools.
  • To exchange experiences and good practices between young people from different countries.
  • Promote sustainable habits such as waste reduction, reuse and recycling.
  • To foster active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and a sense of belonging to the European Union.

PARTICIPANTS:
40 young people from eight countries took part in the project, aimed at those interested in environmental protection and in using digital tools to raise awareness.

Participation is free of charge for members of EPEKA, Soc.Ent., i.e. travel, accommodation and food costs for the duration of the project are covered.
