EPEKA at the Professional Meeting: Ready for Big Steps in Leadership
April 9 – 10, 2026,
Bioterme Mala Nedelja
Members of the EPEKA Association will participate in a two-day professional consultation for leadership personnel in the youth sector this April, organized by the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth. The meeting at Bioterme Mala Nedelja is dedicated to an in-depth reflection on how to create conditions for long-term stability, resilience, and development of non-governmental organizations in a rapidly changing world.
Participation in the consultation represents an opportunity for strengthening leadership competencies and exchanging good practices with other key actors in the sector. The program will focus on identifying contemporary needs of young people and analyzing organizational processes that enable an effective response to societal challenges. Together with experienced moderators, Matej Cepin and Maja Drobne, we will explore visions for the future of youth work in Slovenia.
Main highlights of the meeting include:
- Analysis of key changes in working with youth.
- Developing strategies for greater resilience and stability of organizations.
- Identifying and eliminating “bottlenecks” in internal processes.
- Networking and mutual support of leaders in the youth sector.
We believe that stronger and better-managed organizations directly contribute to a better youth sector as a whole. As the number of places at the event is limited, we invite other colleagues from the sector to join us and contribute to common development with their presence.
We look forward to the meeting and the new knowledge we will transfer into the operation of our association!
