Representatives of the Association EPEKA, a social enterprise, will participate in the online agreement “18th European Platform for Roma Inclusion”.
The 2025 European Platform on Roma Inclusion (EPRI) will take place five years after the adoption of the EU Roma Strategic Framework and halfway through its implementation. It will take place after the completion of the reporting cycle on the implementation of the National Roma Strategic Frameworks for 2023-2025 and before the adoption of the Commission’s 2026 implementation report. It will assess progress made so far and identify the most important challenges that remain to be addressed to ensure that the EU collectively achieves the objectives of the EU Roma Strategic Framework by 2030. The discussions will build on the previous two editions of the EPRI by broadening the perspective to cover all seven objectives of the EU Roma Strategic Framework.
In this context, the 18th European Platform on Roma Inclusion (EPRI) will bring together all relevant actors: policy-makers at EU, national, regional and local levels, fund management authorities and representatives of Roma and pro-Roma civil society. It will address the topic “Insights and experiences after five years of implementation of the EU Roma Strategic Framework – progress achieved and remaining challenges” with the aim of identifying persistent issues and challenges, identifying concrete solutions to address them, and contributing to greater effectiveness of EU and national Roma policies with a view to achieving the 2030 goals.
