September 16-22, 2025
Slovenia

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is also actively participating in the European Mobility Week, which takes place between September 16 and 22, with the slogan “Mobility for All“. The purpose of the week is to raise awareness about sustainable mobility, environmentally friendly modes of transport and better living conditions in cities.

As part of the EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal (EUYC:GD) project, we will offer young people the opportunity to watch two European films with environmental themes for free. The screenings will take place in two cities:

  1. Murska Sobota, film: EATING DIFFERENTLY – JEJMO DRUGAČE, September 17, 2025, at 12:30, Cineplexx, Murska Sobota
  2. Novo mesto, film: HOME, September 19, 2025, at 11:00, Cineplexx, Novo mesto

The selected films bring young people closer to the challenges of climate change, sustainable mobility and a responsible attitude towards the environment. The screenings will be followed by a discussion with experts and young people, where participants will have the opportunity to express their opinions, experiences and suggestions for a greener future.

The event is not only intended for a film experience, but above all to strengthen environmental awareness and encourage young people to be active citizens. With this, we want to contribute to greater awareness of the impact of everyday decisions on our environment and encourage young people to become co-creators of sustainable solutions in local communities.

You are invited to join us in Mobility Week and together we take a step towards a more sustainable future!
