Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will participate in an expert seminar on the occasion of the publication of the first scientific monograph of the Slovenian Youth Office “Compassionate Language among Young People”.
“Compassionate language among young people”, which brings together more than 70 authors from the government, professional, scientific and non-governmental sectors. The series of events, which will take place in six Slovenian regions, is an open invitation to explore strategies to confront different forms of hatred and to foster compassion, cohesion and cooperation among young people.
This knowledge can make an important contribution not only to mitigating hate speech, peer violence, social polarisation and related psychological and relational distress, but more importantly to strengthening basic psychosocial skills and developing a safe, compassionate and inclusive culture in physical and digital spaces.
