At the initiative of the Office of Communication, the Office of Youth has launched an awareness campaign in support of government action during the coronavirus epidemic. The campaign directly addresses young people, but is intended for all residents of the Republic of Slovenia.

The campaign is called Healthy Hello, and its main slogan is “Young people take action”. Namely, young people are those whose lives have been severely affected by the epidemic with the ban on socializing, but they do not give up, but try to get involved in the best possible way in support of measures and adapt to the situation. Despite the fact that they are often blamed for the situation, which stems from the stereotype that young people are frivolous, irresponsible and do not follow the rules, we at the Youth Office want to emphasize that young people are undeservedly considered guilty and that criticism does not positively affect their mental and other state, which is already put to the test due to loneliness, anxiety and other distress.

With the campaign, we want not only to help raise awareness of the importance of taking action, but also to raise the self-confidence of young people and involve them as ambassadors in an active presence to spread a positive view of action.
