Members of the Epeka Association will participate  in the 2nd Municipal Housing Thematic Workshop, organized by the European Commission (Housing Task Force), which will build on the June meeting and offer concrete solutions for the expansion of the non-profit and limited-profit municipal housing sector.

The workshop will delve into the key aspects that are necessary for the successful planning, implementation and long-term sustainability of housing projects:

  • Sustainable Business Models: Managing and maintaining buildings through the prism of long-term financial and environmental sustainability.
  • Risk-sharing mechanisms: Incentives that strengthen the financial viability of projects and attract much-needed investments.
  • Good practices and examples from practice: Learning from successful European examples and transferable frameworks that are already working in practice.

The event is aimed at representatives of cities and local authorities, policy makers, urban planners, non-profit housing organisations and all professionals involved in the financing and development of social, affordable and sustainable housing.
