You are cordially invited to participate in the Social Activation Programme – For Equality, For Employment, For Women, For Roma. The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is implementing the programme in the area of Maribor.

In March, the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., will launch the third edition of the social activation programme, which will start on 1 March 2021 and will last until 30 August 2021. The programme is open to adult Roma women who have a permanent residence permit or Slovenian citizenship and are: beneficiaries of the DSP or registered as unemployed persons on the basis of the ZUTD or registered as temporarily unemployable or inactive persons with complex social problems on the basis of the ZUTD.

The programme consists of three modules; participants are involved in activities 3 days a week for a total of 12 hours/week; i.e. 4 hours/day. Participants also receive a minimum of 1 hour of individual work with the provider per week.

The programme provides the participants with contents that strengthen the development of social competences, increase functional competences for active solving of social problems, increase motivation and empowerment for entering the labour market, increase or acquisition of work competences, i.e. useful knowledge, skills and abilities for improving the chances of entering the labour market. Within the programme, participants can also engage in practical experience-building activities for the labour market with external stakeholders, where they gain work experience and learn about the working environment, supported by cooperation within work processes.
