We invite you to the third workshop within the framework of the Y-ACT project. The workshop is intended for young people, especially young members of the Roma community, and youth workers who want to better understand how corruption affects their community and how they can contribute to greater transparency and accountability.
Through interactive activities, local case studies and practical exercises, we will explore how to identify non-transparent practices, what are the options for action and how young people can become vocal and effective advocates for fair governance. Participants will also learn about useful tools: from transparent budget portals to access to public information, and discuss the challenges they face in their communities in a safe and inclusive space. The workshop will specifically focus on Roma perspectives on corruption.
The workshop will be conducted in an interactive manner, with role-playing, debates and simulations, which will introduce young people to corruption and show them how to use transparency tools such as open budget trackers and access to information portals.
Y-ACT is funded by the PROTEUS project. As a CERV project, PROTEUS is co-funded by the European Commission and runs from January 2023 to September 2026.
