Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., as part of its youth programs, invites you to the second workshop from the virtual reality research cycle, which this time connects creativity, culture and technology.

At the workshop, which will start at 1 p.m., we will explore how VR can become a tool for preserving cultural heritage and expressing identity. Through VR experiences, we will enter the world of art and stories that can be transferred to the digital future with the help of modern technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own virtual proctor that expresses their culture, worldview or vision of the future. We will explore examples of how VR is used to present history, museums and cultural content, and reflect on how technology can contribute to understanding different communities.

The workshop encourages imagination, intercultural dialogue and reflection on the connection between art and the digital world. It is suitable for anyone interested in creative expressions, technology and the social significance of culture in modern times.

Due to limited technical capacities, prior registration is required at: epeka@epeka.si or in person.

The entire youth program that we implement is free of charge for participants, as it is financed by the City of Maribor and the Slovenian Youth Office.
