Istraterra, Soc. Ent., was established with the aim of promoting the development of eco-ethno tourism and the sustainable development of Istria’s countryside. It develops the products “Experiences of Istria – eco and ethno tourism with a social footprint”.
They boost the area’s potential and strengthen the local economy, employ vulnerable groups, and return or invest profits in the local environment. Emphasise the integration of small local providers. Their main activities are the development and marketing of tourism and education/training programmes, the organisation of events, the delivery of training, the marketing of local products.
