A programme with work and learning experience abroad
The EURES Implementation and ALMA project provides better individual employment opportunities and pathways, including for those from vulnerable groups. ALMA (Aim, Learn, Master, Achieve) is part of the EU’s employment, social affairs and inclusion policies, which aims to strengthen support for those young people who are struggling to make transitions to employment, to complete or continue their education.
ALMA runs until 31.10.2028.
Its purpose is to enable young people aged 18 to 35 who are not in education, employment or training to improve their skills and thus their employment opportunities on the labour market through work and learning experience with employers abroad. Priority for participation in the scheme shall be given to long-term unemployed young people who have not been employed or enrolled in formal education in the last year or more, as well as young people who face challenges in the transition to employment, regardless of their registration in the unemployment register.
