Members of the Epeka Association will participate in an online workshop where they will learn how to transform their personal experience into a compelling narrative and performance. A practical interactive workshop is hosted  by the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) as part of the ERIACNET4EU!

The workshop will be led by award-winning playwright, writer and mentor of Roma descent Dan Allum, who will teach participants:

  • how to discover powerful stories in one’s own experiences, memories and identity,
  • using simple techniques from drama and storytelling to shape a story;
  • how to share your personal story without feeling like you have to speak on behalf of an entire community.

The event is aimed at ERIAC members, members of the Roma community, artists, cultural creators and anyone who wants to explore storytelling and performance as a tool for personal and creative expression.
