CNVOS invites you to the official launch of the new Civil Society Fund (CSF) program  in Slovenia, which will bring significant financial support to civil society in the coming years.

The CSF program is the successor to the successful Active Citizens Fund (ACF) program. It is financed  by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA and Norway Financial Mechanisms. Over the period 2021-2028, €3.6 million will be distributed through the fund, which will aim to strengthen civil society, promote democratic values and empower vulnerable groups.

Main areas of support

The event will present in more detail the calls and content addressing:

  • Democratic values and civic participation (including media literacy).
  • Human rights and social justice (fight against discrimination).
  • Gender equality (including sexual and reproductive health and LGBTIQ+ rights).
  • Climate action and environmental protection (just green transition).
  • Organizational development of non-governmental organizations.

The program of the event includes:

  1. Presentation of the CSF programme: What does it bring to Slovenian NGOs in the coming months and years?
  2. Announcement of the first calls: A  rapid response call is expected to be launched on 1 May.
  3. Special guest: Vegard Kaale, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Slovenia, will also attend the event.
  4. Networking: An opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with potential partners.
