ORGANISATIONAL MANAGEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., participated as a partner in the project Organisational Management in its entirety, which took place in Zlin, Czech Republic, from 14 to 21 September.

The project brought together 35 people from 10 European countries for 8 days, focusing on organisational management and the development of skills useful for managing youth organisations and NGOs, with the ultimate aim of helping to improve the quality of youth work in Europe.

Some of the aspects addressed included: organisational environment, leadership, financial management and strategic planning. The methodology of the project was non-formal education, involving a range of methods such as stimulations, discussions, expertise, case studies, brainstorming, video presentations and others.

The project idea stems from the need of European organisations to train their staff in order to keep pace with the changing environment of European NGOs. This is in line with the priorities and objectives of the Erasmus+ programme.
