14 March, 2017
CMEPIUS, Ljubljana

Štefan Simončič, President of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent.,  will be a speaker at the Presentation of the Europe for Citizens and Creative Europe programmes, which will take place on Tuesday, 14 March at 10:00 at CMEPIUS.

Are you a public body or a non-profit organisation in the field of culture, or are you in any other way linked to the themes of the two programmes?

Join us for a presentation of the programmes and examples of good practice.

The presentation will give you an insight into both programmes and the opportunities they offer. We will also present two organisations that have already been successful in implementing both Europe for Citizens and Creative Europe projects.

Creative Europe is a European Union programme designed to support Europe’s cultural and creative, film and audiovisual sectors, to promote cross-border cooperation and to increase their contribution to growth and jobs. It consists of three programme strands: the MEDIA sub-programme, the CULTURE sub-programme and a cross-sectoral strand.

The Europe for Citizens programme aims to promote a greater role for citizens in the development of the EU. The programme supports greater involvement of citizens at all levels and in all aspects of the community and promotes a common European history and values, and encourages European citizenship and civic participation.

The programme:

  • 10.00 – 10.05 Welcome by CMEPIUS
  • 10.05 – 10.35 Presentation of the Europe for Citizens Programme (CMEPIUS)
  • 10.35 – 11.05 Presentation of the Creative Europe Programme (Motovila)
  • 11.05 – 12.00 Presentation of the experience of participation in both programmes (PiNA, EPEKA) and discussion
