Štefan Simončič, President of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., participated in the event Keys to inclusion: finding opportunities for inclusion in the EES. The event took place on 5 and 6 November at the Lev Hotel, Ljubljana.

The activity provided a space for participants to learn in detail about the new European Solidarity Corps programme and, by identifying successful elements of inclusive projects, to better plan and then implement solidarity and inclusion projects.

The event included:

  • Introduced the European Solidarity Corps programme,
  • presented the characteristics of projects promoting social inclusion,
  • present good practices of inclusive projects,
  • presented the Quality Label and the process of obtaining it,
  • advised on how to go about obtaining the quality label,
  • advise you on how to draft your project,
  • facilitate the exchange of experiences and promote networking between organisations,
  • discuss the different aspects of solidarity and how these should be reflected in projects.
