Štefan Simončič, President of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., is participating in the innovative Affordable Housing Initiative programme, which is moving into its second phase of offering a free, tailored educational programme.
The training programme aims to improve the skills of social and affordable housing providers, cities and companies involved in planning or implementing sustainable construction and renovation projects in the field of affordable housing. Participants will develop integrated approaches that will improve the delivery of quality housing and mitigate the problems that have historically affected the development of social and affordable housing.
Event Programme:
- Welcome and opening address by Nerea Gómez, ECTP.
- Exploring the opportunities of the Affordable Housing Initiative’s tailor-made training programme: Margherita Marinelli, Housing Europe.
- Success stories: Champions of selected districts from Phase 1: Maja Staleska, HTO, North Macedonia; Štefan Simončič, EPEKA, Slovenia. Moderated by Housing Europe.
- Introduction to the e-learning platform: Ermete Mariani/Kinga Kovacs, Energy Cities.
- Selection criteria and practical aspects of the programme: Giorgia Signoretto, EBC.
- Interactive Q&A session: Ask questions, gain insights and clarify any doubts.
