H5P makes it easy to create interactive content by offering a range of content for different needs. It is very useful in education and training!
The aim of this article is that everyone who reads it will know how to use H5P technology in practice :).. So what do we need to get started with H5P right now? It will be a bit strange to watch because it won’t be clear to you right away, but soon everything will change…
WHAT DO WE NEED?
1. Lumi – desktop version. First, I paid 10 euros for the first month (my colleague is joking that she paid for it and not me… well, well, it’s true). As far as I can remember, nothing worked until I downloaded the desktop version of this program on my computer. But then there was a turning point and everything started working. I never paid anything again and now, a year and more later, I am still using the thing without paying anything. And even if I really had to pay 10 euros every month, no problem. So I don’t know how that works and if they have forgotten about me or if it means that the thing is still free and offers both things that are needed
– an HTML file that you can send by e-mail. First you upload this file to your google drive…
– H5P file, which is all you need to modify the task itself!
Then the kids have no excuse anymore, learning with a little input becomes a joy. Filling in the blanks is already enough, it’s quick to do and very useful for repeating material. You just choose the options you want when assembling the H5P.
1. You can show the correct entries (SHOW SOLUTION)
2. Check the correctness of the entries (CHECK)
3. Try again (RETRY or just select refresh browser above and you’re back at square one :)…)
Lumi covers everything we need, and there are many different types of tasks we can do with it. There are free specialised sites, such as:

But I couldn’t help myself with them, as they are mainly for testing these things and then implementing them on web pages. They did not allow me to do what Lumi did, namely:
Lumi allows you to do h5p and html (which you can send to a specific email address).
- so you do the thing
- you save it on your google drive
- you send it to someone’s email address
- and he just opens that link, pulls down the file and it’s saved as an html file in Downloads
- he selects that file, clicks on it and the task opens in his browser
Lumi allows you to create many different h5p tasks. Each one is easy to make and quick to learn. The simplest one is already worth it… it’s a fill in the blanks. Basically you just put a word between two asterisks and it’s already a great learning aid :P.

We can specify that the initial is important or we can ignore it – Case sensitive option off, however… In this case, prešeren will also be correct, so it will also be lowercase… As we practice this task, we also see over time that we can enable the display of the correct answers only after we have typed something in each field, or whenever we want to. When I had 100 empty fields and I had to enter one character in each of them before I could choose to display the correct answers, I learned to choose the second option. But I learned before how to enter one character in 100 fields the fastest way….aha…It’s all good for something :)…

In the first example, you first look at the page where the cover images are for the posts currently on Epeka’s front page and try to remember the sequence… How about a minute of looking to start with, and if that’s not enough, then a second time you extend it a bit…

HOW TO CREATE A SIMPLE TASK – INSERT WORDS IN EMPTY FIELDS.
How to get text from any image? The image is a printscreen of the desktop and then the formatted image (png) is just uploaded to a website that allows the image to text function, where the text is extracted from the image, so. This text can be selected, like in Word, and then the desired words are just filled in with an asterisk front and back… You can do it in Word and then copy it all to the task on the Lumia Fill in the blanks, for example. In windows, access the Cut tool to just type it into the search engine. It’s part of them. Then we put this tool in the taskbar so we don’t have to search for it again.
How to get text from an image…
Two websites are listed below and are used for this, I think there are loads of them… You just upload the image or the printscreen and it’s….

And finally, this:
H5P allows you to do one great thing and that is to paste certain tasks on mp4! Not all of them are possible, but the basic tasks are. The interface itself shows which tasks are like that. We’ll show you more of these and then wrap up.
Pdfs must be viewed in a pdf viewer, not just in a browser, where the display functions are limited. I first pull the pdf down from my mailbox and save it in Downloads and run it from the Downloads folder. Then I can see and hear everything, all the shortcuts work….I have to allow the links to open in the pdf program, I allow everything :).
