Trankovec Farm

You are invited to join us for a work-based learning activity on Thursday 23 July 2020 at Trankovec Farm.

The Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., within the framework of the project “Farm – a place of diversity”, financed by the European Fund for Rural Development under sub-measure 16.9, is preparing the first activity aimed at integrating vulnerable groups into the labour market through participation in farm activities. The project is being implemented in cooperation with Kovačnik, Baron and Trankovec farms and the Epeka Youth Cooperative. The project aims to increase the capacity of agricultural holdings to work with vulnerable groups with a view to their social activation and faster reintegration into society and the labour market. We also emphasise the intergenerational component and the educational approaches that enable the transfer of knowledge between all participants and also between the trainers. Within the activities, you will get to know the work on the farm better and, through an oral evaluation of the activities, you will be able to co-design the educational approach in future activities.

The planned activity will take place from 7 am to 5 pm. Transport to the site will be provided for all interested participants. The meeting point is Koroška 8, 2000 Maribor, at 7 am.

Participation in the activity is free of charge and includes lunch at the venue.

All participants are urged to take care of their health and the health of others while attending the event and to follow the NIJZ guidelines on limiting the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections.

For more information, please contact us by email and on 030 610 606.

The project is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
