Baku, Azerbaijan

Representatives of the Association EPEKA, Soc. Ent., attended a YE in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Nowadays, many people leave their countries due to war conflicts, economic crises, and natural disasters seeking asylum abroad. We call them refugees. They face many different obstacles, starting from the language barrier and ending with unemployment. It concerns not just refugees, but also migrants, who leave their country to improve their chances and the future of their families. The aim of the project is the formation of community support for refugees and migrants.

The project gives the participants the opportunity to dive into the topic of migration. We will collect ideas, expertise, and knowledge about different methods and tools that can be used for migration-related youth to work in different contexts. We want to increase the understanding of the challenges and opportunities that migration brings to the youth work sector and international cooperation and to provide recommendations for good practices when working with young refugees and migrants
