The Association EPEKA, SOC. ENT., will participate in a briefing on the call for proposals on how to finance projects in a way that reduces corruption and ensures transparency.

Corruption and lack of transparency remain a pressing challenge in Central and Eastern Europe, undermining public trust in institutions, weakening democratic governance, hindering equitable economic and social development, and strengthening the influence of malicious foreign and domestic actors. Criminality occurs in both the public and private sectors and thrives where there is little or no public accountability.

Given that transparency and strong anti-corruption policies are essential to uphold the principles of good democratic governance and the rule of law, The Transatlantic Foundation (TF) , in partnership with the Engaging Central Europe (ECE) programme of The German Marshall Fund of the United States, is launching a special call for proposals. This funding opportunity is intended to support civil society organisations in their advocacy and awareness-raising on government transparency and accountability in Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, and Slovenia.

The projects collected can start as early as 1 July 2025 and end no later than 31 July 2026.
