Sleep is essential for our physical and mental health and an important factor in our resistance to viral and bacterial infections.
The COVID-19 epidemic has brought many changes to our daily lives, which have a profound impact on our rhythms of life and, consequently, on our sleep. Because of the importance of sleep and rest in boosting immune immunity and reducing the likelihood of getting sick, the NIJZ has produced guidance on how to get the best possible quality sleep during the epidemic.
