The Maribor – Aloja Institute for Long-Term Care will organise a non-formal training course on Counselling and Support in Dementia.

The lecture is aimed at people in the early stages of dementia, relatives and other carers, and anyone with an interest in the field. You will learn how to behave when in contact with a person you know with dementia, what to do if you meet a person with dementia, and how to care for or support a person with dementia.

Aloja works mainly in the field of social care in the support network for older people who are at risk of social exclusion or who need support and help in their daily lives. Through various activities, they develop a supportive environment for older people to stay as long as possible, in a quality and active way, in their home environment.

The activity will take place from 16.00 to 17.30.

Participation is free of charge.
