Roma station
On Wednesday 24 February 2021, we invite you to a training session on why and how to start an association. We are organising this training because several of our regular participants have expressed their wish to start their own Roma association. This training will give you the opportunity to learn what an association is, how to set one up and what the advantages are compared to other forms of organisation.
The activity will be held in cooperation with Nina Petrič from FININA s.p., which provides accounting and consulting services for a number of associations. During the workshop you will learn what an association is, how to set one up, who can set one up, what legislation you need to pay attention to, how to write the statutes and who can help you with this, and how to raise funds. The lecturer will also explain what you need to pay special attention to in the process of setting up an association and what the advantages of an association are compared to other forms of stakeholder organisation.
Due to the restrictions and the number of participants, please note that the activity will be held in two groups – please register by phone or email in the group that suits you better, the maximum number of persons in each group is 8.
The activity for the first group will take place from 15.00 to 16.30 and for the second group from 17.00 to 18.30.
Participation is free of charge. The event will be held in accordance with the recommendations of the NIJZ.
