EPEKA, Soc.Ent. will present itself at the LUPA NGO Festival, which will take place this year at Prešeren Square in Ljubljana on 12 September 2024.

In addition to EPEKA, more than 100 NGOs will participate in the festival

NGOs are active in areas where the state fails or is unable to provide what we need for a safe and quality life.

Sports organisations make sure that we and our children stay fit; cultural organisations make sure that we are well informed and enrich our souls; social organisations make sure that there are as few hungry people among us as possible; firefighters make sure that our houses don’t burn down; and those who keep a watchful eye on the workings of the authorities make sure that the state doesn’t hijack our lives. Just as no house is immune from fire, no authority is immune from mistakes and abuses.
